Marriott Bonvoy - 萬豪旅享家2023年會員軟著陸政策 (Soft landing)

 

若果保級失敗萬豪嘅Soft landing從來都係非正式嘅政策，因為過去幾年尊貴會籍一直延期，可能因為萬豪避免會員誤會，今次應該係首次正式公佈2023年Soft landing嘅具體政策。

阿迪哥先講返歷史。

2018年Marriott Bonvoy誕生前

Marriott Bonvoy係2018年由Starwood Preferred Guests、Marriott Rewards及Ritz-Carlton Rewards 三個會員計劃合併而成，而响2018年以前嘅Marriott Rewards 有一項非明文規定，尊貴會員如果於今年未能達到保級所需晚數要求，翌年會籍只會降一級，當時即是當年Marriott Rewards白金會員未能住足75晚保級、即使全年只入住一晚，下年度都會Soft landing至金卡，而且下一年萬豪亦會提供積分buyback 選擇畀會員，會員可以使用特定嘅積分買回去年嘅尊貴會籍。

然之後2018年SPG及Marriott Rewards 正式合併之前亦宣佈咗將來唔會再有buyback。

2020年Soft landing

2018年Marriott Bonvoy誕生，到咗2020年，當大家以為响2019年保級失敗，鈦金會員亦會只降一級，殊不知到咗2020年3月份保級失敗嘅鈦金會員發現直接降為金卡！(👉按此)，不過之後有好多會員聯絡客服後，這批會員都安排升級返上白金，即係最終Soft landing降一級解決。

2020年至2022年因疫情無條件延期

大家都應該知，到咗2020年(👉按此)、2021年(👉按此)及2022年(👉按此)因為疫情關係萬豪尊貴會籍又送晚數、又延期，呢段期間大家都一直在做Staycation 應該都好深刻。

2023年Soft landing政策

而剛剛萬豪就推出咗2023年嘅Soft landing具體政策(👉按此)，政策主要分兩項：

We are pleased to offer Titanium Elite status to our current Ambassador Elite members who do not achieve the 2022 published criteria to maintain Ambassador Elite status.

以上第一項即是大使會員若果在2022年未能符合相關保級要求，2023年將會只降一級至鈦金會員。

As part of Marriott Bonvoy's annual business processing, all other Elite Members with a status expiration date of February 2023 that did not achieve a higher Elite Status or renew their existing Elite Status during 2022 will be downgraded in early March 2023.

而第二項阿迪哥嘅解讀係，鈦金會員或以下級別會員將不會有Soft landing。

舉個例子，鈦金會員若果响2022年共累積52晚合資格晚數，因為已經合符白金要求咁响2023年3月就當然會降為白金。

但若然鈦金會員响2022年只累積5晚合資格晚數，照字面睇就可能會响2023月份一降會降到底至普通白板會員。

不過呢個只係阿迪哥嘅解讀，呢個條款完全係唔清晰，大家參考下就好，2023年3月自有分曉。
